KANNAWIDAN 2020

     Kannawidan is the celebration of the seperation of Ilocos Regions. It is being celebrated at the end of January. It celebrates the best of Ilocos culture, folk dances to tribal rituals, traditional dresses and marching band competition. This year Kannawidan is held in Tamag, Vigan City.

     Last January 29, 2020, a choir competion were held. It was categorized by 3. The first category was Elementary category, the second category was Secondary level category, and the third category was the Teacher's category. There is also a pageant that will be held on January 31, 2020.

     Artists also travel to visit Vigan and make the celebration of Kannawidan be more fun for the Ilocanos. 

     The celebration of Kannawidan is a tradition to Ilocanos.
